Hello there! Well, I just felt like posting some of my own artwork for your viewing pleasure. This is a picture of Bert the Aged Hippie from my fanfiction, Yelling Yourself Yellow With Yetis. This is probably the best thing I've ever drawn, and I was surprised by how good it came out. Anyway, Bert only appears twice in my story, but he is quite central to the plot. After drawing him and writing his scene in Chapter Two, I noticed that Bert is strikingly similar to Hagrid, since they both share similar accents and affinities for animals. Drawn with mechanical pencil on printer paper. Tim the Enchanter

Hello! Here's another character portrait for my fic, Yelling Yourself Yellow With Yetis. This is a picture of a certain German named Erick Schicklgruber, who works as an International Confederation of Wizards game warden at a Tibetan yeti preserve. And yes, that's a yeti in the background, with some poor fellow in its hand. Like pretty much everything I draw, this was done using mechanical pencil on printer paper. Tim the Enchanter

Where is Yelling Yourself Yellow With Yetis if it is indeed available online? Your art, by the way, is superlative, even if a wee scanner/computer blurred.

It's on MNFF. Just go to the humour section, and sort by most recently updated. You should be able to see it. Unfortunately, I haven't read it, because it's rated 6th-7th years, and my profile won't let me read anything higher than 3rd-5th years.

Hello, mousemaylikecheese,
Well, as Schmergo already noted, you can find the first two chapters of Yelling Yourself Yellow With Yetis on fanfiction.mugglenet.com, as well as fanfiction.net. Since I've been busy writing that story, I've recently been drawing portraits of its major characters.
At any rate, I'm glad you like the pictures! I hope you like the story too!
But, as you've already heard, it is rated 6-7 years (the third rating out of four levels) for drug use, mad yeti violence, and colourful swearing in Mandarin, English, German, and Spanish.
Now to you, Schmergo. Correct me if I'm wrong, but anyone can read 6-7 rated fics, regardless of whether they have an account or not. The only thing that happens is a little pop-up notice appears that alerts you to the rating. You only need an account and login to read Professor rated stories.
So, as far as I can tell, there is no physical barrier preventing you from reading Yelling Yourself Yellow With Yetis. You can just read it without even logging in, just by saying "OK" to the window that says "This story may contain sexuality, profanity, and or violence not suitable for younger readers."

Hello! Well, here's the last picture I've drawn for my Yelling Yourself Yellow With Yetis character portrait series, so far. Anyway, this is a drawing of Muggle named Vanessa, leader of a dysfunctional eco-terrorist group, the Environment Liberation Front. Yet again, drawn with mechanical pencil on printer paper. Hello there! Here's a self portrait I drew, with some obvious parallels to Che Guevara (the pose, plus the beret and the jacket). You'll also notice that it's now my avatar after months of not having one! Drawn using mechanical pencils in a sketchbook I rarely use. Tim the Enchanter

You're impossibly cool-looking, sir. But answer me, this-- as Che Guevara, do you do this much? www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcNRP-y48vQ&feature=related (Yes, that's the musical "Evita" by Andrew Lloyd Webber... yes, Che's the Narrator. Yes, he's played by the same guy who played Puss In Boots.) Though if you want to see an even less edgy, comically innocent Che, look no further than Michael Ball, who makes even the most bitter-sounding lyrics sound chirpy and cute: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJLA-SIvN0A Granted, Michael Ball is probably my favourite person in the world, and I do have this performance on my iPod, but, erm, seriously?

Thanks for liking the picture, Schmergo! However, to answer your question - no, I don't.
Please don't ask me to sing, because my voice is pretty bad - much like Ted from your Potter's Pentagon. I also don't incite communist revolutions like Che, so I guess I don't measure up, do I?
Anyway, I was bored last night and I thought it would be funny to draw myself looking like El Guerillero Heroico, and that's how this picture came to be.

I'd like to add that I really like the way you drew your nose. Noses are seriously hard to draw, so I always appreciate it when people draw them well. Silly anime artists who get away with drawing a tiny dash...

That's one of the reasons why Japanese anime annoys me so much - they can't be bothered to draw noses properly.
But you are absolutely correct: noses are pretty hard to draw. Make one mistake and they end up looking like either a beak or a pig's snout. That's why when I draw people, I always start with the nose. Then I build the rest of the face around it, but that first step is usually the hardest.
Of course, it also helps to look at your own nose for inspiration.

But I'm Voldemort. Looking at my own nose is no help.

Yo! Don't be dissing anime! Okay, sorry about that, but what they lack in noses they make up for incharacterization and plot. I eat it up like popcorn!

Greetings! Here's a massive sketch dump I did of the main protagonist and antagonist from my story, Echo. The Prologue is up in the writing section, but only the first guy in the picture makes a brief cameo. The plot of the story is too hard to explain. For now, the good guy is Jason, and the bad guy is Claudius. Sketch drawn using mechanical pencil in my sketchbook (hence the weird colour of the paper). Tim the Enchanter PS: I hate drawing hats.

I understand what you said about hats. I get all worried about how hair's supposed to sit under them! Hat's are fun to wear, not quite so to draw!

Well, when I draw hats, I find that they spare me the trouble of drawing hair, since most of it is underneath. However, what I hate the most about drawing hats is making them the correct shape to conform to the skull, and the brim. The brim (especially on a wide-brimmed fedora like Claudius') is the hardest part of a hat to draw in my opinion.
However, for some reason, I am pretty good at drawing Greek and Roman helmets, but those are the only pieces of headgear I can draw somewhat adequately.

Hello there! Here's another sketch dump I created. Yep. At the top left there is a reversed centaur. To its right you have Ursula the Sea Witch from The Little Mermaid, but with her human and octopus portions swapped. Below them you have a really messed up cat, rat, and dog (hey! That's a chapter title from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban!) And lastly, at the bottom, I have a lovely hippocampus, but with the fish and horse portions reversed. Pretty weird, huh? Drawn in my sketchbook with mechanical pencil. Tim the Enchanter

Greetings! I'm currently writing a Grindelwald-era Harry Potter story, entitled Für Das Größere Wohl. However, this story is from the perspective of the Germans. Anyway, this picture depicts Grindelwald's elite group of henchmen, the Zauberische Verteidigungsmannschaft des Kanzlers, meaning "Wizarding Defence Crew of the Chancellor." (Thank you, Schmergo, by the way) Of course, Zauberische Verteidigungsmannschaft des Kanzlers is a long and unwieldy name, so most people just call it the ZVK, or (with a subdued sense of dread) the Mitternachtsmannschaft - "Midnight Crew." That refers to how these guys barge into your house in the middle of the night and drag you off to Nurmengard or simply murder you. Charming fellows... Drawn in my sketchbook with mechanical pencil.
