I love the first drawing! It's awesome. Is it just me or does the guy have flowers on his bandana thing-a majiggy?! Ummm i was just wondering how you attach the pictures to this site. I tried to put the name of the image in the little (img) (/img) thing but that didn't work. Anyway, great drawings! ;D

Well, beaternumber1, posting pictures is quite simple. First, what you need to do is right-click on whatever picture from the internet or a photobucket account you want to use, and select "Properties." A little window will pop up, and then you highlight the url address under "Image Properties" (NOT "Link Properties," because that's something else. For a really stupid example, I chose a picture of the coat of arms of the Soviet Union, because that was the first thing that came to mind. Here's the address: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d6/Coat_of_arms_of_the_Soviet_Union.svg/85px-Coat_of_arms_of_the_Soviet_Union.svg.pngTo make it appear in the post, you put this address within image function thing: <img>INSERT PICTURE URL HERE</img> - please note that you MUST use square brackets rather than angle brackets for this to work. Or you could just press the little button in the "Add Tags" menu of the reply menu (doesn't appear in quick replies) that looks like a little picture frame. Once that's done, here's the finished product: However, if you want the picture to be a bit bigger, all you have to do is change the number of pixels in the URL address if it is given. The original for the above picture is 85 pixels, but you can easily rewrite it as however many you want to achieve the desired size. Here's 250: TAA DAA! I love the first drawing! It's awesome. Is it just me or does the guy have flowers on his bandana thing-a majiggy?![/i] Thanks for liking the drawing. To answer your question, he's wearing a bandanna with a flower pattern on it. Now, here's another hippie! This man's name is Uthary Tek Tahom, and he is a character in a story I am writing. Tim the Enchanter

Indeed it does, Mouse. The coat of arms of the Soviet Union has a red banner wound around the wheat stalks, and written in gold lettering in various languages the national motto. Here's a bigger picture: The bottom-most version of the motto is in Russian (Пролетарии всех стран, соединяйтесь!), and that is repeated in languages like Armenian, Lithuanian, Tajik, etc. Anyway, the Russian version in Latin letters is Proletarii vsekh stran, soyedinyaytes!, which means "Proletarians (workers) of the world, unite!"Tim the Enchanter

Hmph. I happen to share Tom Tim's interest in Communism, thank you very much, although I am very much anti-communism. I once read nearly half of a 1000 page book (and I would have read the rest, had I not needed to take it back to the library and get the rest of my report done...) written by a Russian about the injustices and various mistreatments that occurred during the Soviet Union's reign--things like letting people starve to death due to the fact that you took all their crops because, guess what--they don't want to be part of the Soviet Union. I happen to like history, but then, I think I like at least parts of all my subjects.
Do you read/speak very much Russian, if any, Tim?

Well, I find communism a fascinating subject, and even funny. I do have to admit that communism (in theory) has its merits, like the equality of all peoples, international solidarity, and freedom from oppression. HOWEVER, you'll notice that countries like the Soviet Union failed on all three accounts! That's the problem with communism - it can only work if all humans were angels, but unfortunately, we are not. Though it is a nice idea, communism is fundamentally and fatally flawed - it just can't work, because as humans we are naturally selfish! I am surprised that the Soviet Union actually lasted as long as it did. The country was founded on an ideology that could never work in the real world, and it was run by corrupt, inept, paranoid psychopaths with unquestioned power. Indeed, some people are more equal than others! I like communism not because I believe in what it says, but because it's a fascinating subject. Plus, IT'S JUST FUN TO MAKE FUN OF! Here's the link to the manual for a board game I made, dubbed "Communopoly" - akukama.proboards75.com/index.cgi?board=scribble&action=display&thread=350Also, here's a communism thread ( akukama.proboards75.com/index.cgi?board=deadwhitemen&action=display&thread=393") if you want to further discuss this very strange ideology. If you have any good communist jokes, please share them! Oh yes, and Mouse, I do not actually speak any Russian, aside from the names of different Soviet weapons, some slogans, and a few useful (?) phrases like "Я инвалид!" - that means, "I am invalid!" Yep, pretty random. I did teach myself the Cyrillic alphabet, though.
But enough about communism! Here's some more pictures I've drawn - they're pretty big, so I've provided links instead: Here's a picture that pretty much sums up a story I'm planning, called Beneath the Cloud Sea. Anyway, the universe is composed of a sea of clouds, with little bits of land poking through, and people get from one piece of land to another by flying in sailing airships: i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn34/Pseudonym_Sam/Airship.jpg?t=1221954029Nobody knows what lies beneath the clouds (because those people who go down never come back up), and what lies under is a major part of the story, hence the title. I've drawn maybe a dozen pictures for this story, but I'm too lazy to post them all. Tim the Enchanter

When you say "I am invalid" do you mean the meaning of invalid as someone who's ill, or do you mean not valid? I cracked up at the idea of saying "I'm not valid", rather like the time my mom threw out the rough guess (and I shouldn't make fun of her for it) that "Apre moi le deluge" meant "I am a delusion."

Can I make a(nother) request? I want to see Mad Lord Snapcase hung up by his figgin.
Information necessary for this drawing:
Lord Snapcase should look dukely/lordly enough; should be wearing very fine clothes, should be hung upside down like a bat, and should be looking in anguish at his teacake.
A figgin is a type of teacake.

Wow wow wow, that pic is AWESOME.
Except for the fact that I wear spectacles... That doesn't change the awesomeness of the pic in anyway!
Lub it. Why haven't you put it up here?

Anyway, here's the picture for the rest of you mortals! Oh, and BB, I posted it first in my MNFF forum art page because it was a sneaky (or perhaps not) way to get you to leave a post in response, hint hint. My specs are rectangular, with no frame at the bottom...
Other than that... I like to call myself pleasantly plump, though others may just call me fat.
Other than that, no, nothing. The hair's almost exactly like how mine is.

These. Pictures. Are. So. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You're a really great artist, Tim! So, I also have a picture request, something like the picture you drew for bb, but of me. Except, I'll give some helpful hints! On another thread, I wrote that I look kinda like Sleeping Beauty, but brunette. Also, most people can't guess my age, I've been told ages from 10, all the way to 21! That gives you still plenty creative liscence. Once again, you're a great artist, and I've read some of your fanfiction and that's also quite excellent! -H.G.

Hey I wanna be drawn too! Even though you have absolutly no idea what i look like. HAHAHA.... Fine here are some clues if you do draw me. I'm a brunette with shoulder leangth hair and most people think that I'm about 16, but I'm actually younger than that. I am pretty dark and sometimes peopel thingk 'm partially Muslim, but i don't have black hair so i don't know how they get that. I have huge dark brown eyes and I'm always smiling. Honestly. ALL. THE. TIME. Oh and I'm a girl... if you didn't get that from the shoulder leangth hair thing....... he he. Kay now i want to see what you come up with.... This should be interesting.........
