What are some of the cool things that you got for the holidays? What are some of the lamest/stupidest? Here are my presents:
*Keane "Under the Iron Sea" CD and the Sweeney Todd soundtrack, even though I've never seen Sweeney Todd, asked for the Prince of Egypt soundtrack as the only present I wanted, and didn't get it. Also a Christian CD that I quite like, so be quiet.
*THE MOOOON! Okay, so my aunt sent me this giant lamp shaped like a full moon that lights up in all of the phases of the moon. I think it can be programmed to follow the real moon pattern.
*DVD of "Pride and Prejudice," video of "The Princess Bride" and.... (this was the best gift that I got) THE SPECIAL EDITION DVD OF MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL WITH THE SCREENPLAY INCLUDED AND ABOUT A MILLION SPECIAL FEATURES!
*A kajillion books and journals, including "Children of the Lamp: The Akhenaten Adventure" (which is quite good," a book called "The Lightning Thief" which I REQUIRE YOU TO READ RIGHT NOW, and some book about writing fantasy, which has proved useful. Oh yeah, and a giant book called "Wizardology." Very cool.
*Two really cute skirt-and-top outfits, a Mugglenet Fanfiction t-shirt, a Kokopelli t-shirt from Muse magazine (YAAAY!), a hoodie with little studs on the hood and pockets, and a pair of grey suede boots with scrunchy fabric and high heels that look SOOOOO AWESOME!
*"Santa" gave me the complete works of William Shakespeare. I mean, I like Shakespeare, but that's really weird. He also gave me gummi savers (ONE OF THE BEST CANDIES EVAH) and fudge that tastes suspiciously like the kind my mom made last night... hmmm.
