i used to think blue was a guy just because she had a "friend" who was pink. always thought blue and magenta would hook up one day. then i heard steve call blue a 'she' and...still thought the show was really dumb.

yeah, i know. but u know, they hardly ever actually use pronouns when talking about blue, so it's okay. kind of makes u see the show in a new light, though...

yeah, steve went to college or something and then joe took over. steve i didn't mind. joe is creepy. i don't know, blue just...well, when your a kid, blue is a boy's color and pink is a girl's color, and since that show is for like, four year olds, you just get used to the idea that blue is a dude. though, in retrospect, blue's bark always was sort of high pitched, so that could have been the givaway right there...

...point...? and i never really watched that show, it was kind of a "it's saturday morning and i'm desperate" backup. i always like looney toons and arthur and that thing that was sort of like arthur but it was older and it centered around a family of cats that inexplicably had a worm named inchy or something living with them. thank god my mother never allowed me to watch barney, though...

arthur was cool. i love how after a while you never notice that they're all animals. P.S. can you remember what D.W. stood for? i know it was increddible strange, but i can't for the life of me remember what it was.

i loved the comedy (and mindless violence ;D ) that was loony toons, i still love them. i wish all the good cartoons werent on boomarang, cuz we dont have that channel. i liked aurthur, and i thought it was funny and educational and entertaining. i only watched blues clues rarly. sadly, i used to watch *shivers* barney...bla..

You know, we got into a discussion the other day on Ravelry in which someone pointed out that circa turn of the century (c.1900) blue was for girls, and pink for boys. Rather interesting, anyway.
I also liked (and still like) Loony Toons, and Tom and Jerry. I don't like Arthur quite so much anymore, but I think he's better than barney. Horrors... The song's coming into my head... Eeeek. Arm not alas sand, way south in the west, so star land a mat, there's where I love best, sand not as alarm, lone sea birds do wing, and alas most ran, list to me whilst I sing. (That's not the song--It's the only remedial song that I know--from the book Outcast of Redwall But the barney song that's coming, luckily, isn't the I love you...., it's that "Barney is a dinosaur..." Did anyone ever watch the Sylvester and Tweety mysteries? (You know, I tried to type Slyvester, like Slytherin!
I also found it interesting that that topic of discussion is located in the blues music section on Yahoo Answers.
And sorry for dredging up an old topic!
