Okay, this Halloween I have a plan. I will be going as The Miserably Wicked Cat Phantom of Fleet Street, Camelot. Yes, I'm going as the musical costume crossover monster. Scary! For example, I'm going to paint half my face green like Elphaba and the other half will be in a phantom mask. Um, can someone tell me what the niflheim I should do for Cats? Also, tell me what you think of the idea!

That is totally awesome! WHY didn't I think of that... and now I can't because you stole it. No idea what to do for cats. I'm sorry to say that I don't even remember what the plot is, or if there even is one. Oh well, You'll probably do a better job of pulling it off that I ever could.

This idea is absolutely brilliant, Ankh! For Cats, I would suggest wearing a tail of some sort. (I think they sell them at Walmart, except they're really small, and you have to use velcro, and it doesn't stick to your butt very well. (Long story.))
Good luck with that!

I'll stick the tail to a belt (Tape is magical!) and wear that!

In the actual musical "Cats," they have the tails tied to a belt so you don't have to worry about them sticking and unsticking. You can fill a pantyhose leg and tie it to a belt.

I don't know if you're wearing a hat for anything, but, if not, you could always just go with cat ears. What I want to know is what you're doing for Les Mis.
Also, this idea rather rocks.

Actually, I have a head band with cat ears lying around somewhere now that you mention it. What I was planning to do for Les Mis was a French flag somewhere on my person, but I'm not sure how. If someone has a better idea, please tell me.

Well, I was thinking either an Enjy vest or a giant red flag of dooom. *shrugs*
I really have no idea what I'll be doing for Halloween this year. I've gotten quite attached to my Chauvelin costume, but I can't do that two years in a row, not in good conscience.

In my country, Halloween is unknown. It's Day of Dead and we go to the cemetery with a lot of candles.
We only wear costumes in some balls...
Last time I wore a costume was last summer, when Deathly Hallows címe out. We had a great party and I dressed as Bellatrix and my ex as Rodolphus. We won the first prize!
If I'll go to the next costume party somewhere, I'll be Javert.
What do you plan for Sweeney? Suspenders? Razors? Lansbury Buns?

Whoa, it's Sieglinde!
Lansbury buns and cat ears would look strange together, in my opinion. Heh.
For the OotP, HBP, and DH releases, I was a Gryffindor student, a Ravenclaw student, and a Slytherin student respectively. And I acted accordingly. It was fun. I know Schmergadee was Lucius Malfoy at the DH one, but I don't know about the others.
When I went to At World's End with Frik, Vam, Demon, and Twi (I think that was it. I think.) I was Scarlett. It was marvelous. I got to slap people dressed as Jack. *evil grin*

Dude, it's Sieglinde!
I was dressed as Jack. I didn't get slapped. *Eviller grin*
I was indeed Lucius at the DH release, but at the HBP book release, I was just myself wearing a "Weasley Is My King" badge. I wasn't at the OOTP book release because I was at the hospital where my grandmother had just had a stroke, but the summer before, the bookstore had a party on Harry Potter' birthday, and I dressed as Trelawney. THAT was great fun; I won the costume contest.
I always dress up like Hermione when I go to see the Harry Potter films, even though I hate Hermione. I like getting comments on my hair.
I plan on being Ursula the Sea Witch for Halloween (the Broadway version, NOT the movie version), but that might change.

Wow, that sounds like a great idea!
My favorite two costumes were when I played Touchstone (hair that looked like something out of Dr. Suess, purple t-shirt, leather jacket, black and purple sparkly fingernails, leather pants and high-heeled boots) and when I was Tonks for the release of DH.

I can see a connection between the two costumes! ^_^ (I like your new siggie... but your avatar is downright awesome!)
My favourite costume was when I was King Arthur from Monty Python and the Holy Grail two Halloweens ago. Last Halloween I was Sir Percy Blakeney. I don't know why I keep dressing up as guys...

I can see a connection between the two costumes! ^_^ (I like your new siggie... but your avatar is downright awesome!) Thanks! I love West Side Story... (And I DID wake up and decide I was a pirate one morning.) My favourite costume was when I was King Arthur from Monty Python and the Holy Grail two Halloweens ago. Last Halloween I was Sir Percy Blakeney. I don't know why I keep dressing up as guys... Wow, you got to dress up as Sir Percy?!
