The favorite costume i aver made was when i dressed up as the Halloween Queen when i was eight. I wore a black skirt orande and black striped leotards, a Jack-O-Lantern face shirt and a orange witches hat. I also a a black cape with Stuffed pumpkins sewn onto it. and a orange boa as the coller. My favorite part was that my eight year old brain came up with it myself and i sewed it together all on my own. Nobody even knew what i was going to be untill Halloween night.
Guess what i'm being for Halloween This year. Yes that is correctimono! I am going to be a..... PIRATE-NINJA!!!!!!

I got most of my costume Saturday! *bounces* It's really awesome, and I can't wait to get my hat, and my trench coat, which may never come. I'm going as Eponine, so I have to make my skirt and blouse from the thrift store look really ragged, which'll be tons of fun.

Here where I live, hardly anyone celebrates Halloween. Ok, so I lied NOBODY celebrates Halloween. BUT. I, along with a small group of faithful comrades went trick or treating a year or two back- and no one could say we were too old for it because no one knew what ages people went trick or treating! BBLUUBBAAARRRGGGHHH! I went as a... some monster-y thing. I had this mask and I got this black robe kind of thing stitched... It was fun. And yeah, I'm going to dress up again this year, probably take chaperone my sister (Yeaah right- isn't that the excuse we all use?) The thirtieth is so close... COSTUME HELP! ~BB

I never get to do Halloween since my dad doesn't approve of it...
Hmm.... obsure, random ideas:
Kim (from the novel of the same name, written by Rudyard Kipling)
the narrator of The Raven
Merlin
The Black Knight of Monty Python
A sock...
Willy Wonka as drawn by Quentin Blake
Havelock Vetinari, young or old
an Igor
The Pied Piper
a golem(!)
Rincewind (oh(----)!)
A knight (optionally, one of those from MP&tHG)

This year, I've been telling everyone that I'm gonna be Ursula the Sea Witch, but the costume is too difficult. So I'm going to dress up as a Caesar salad.
I will wear a toga, a laurel leaf crown... and lots of lettuce and other vegetables attached to my clothing, with a sign around my neck reading "Caesar Salad." I'm so weird.

Ceasar Salad?
-audible laughter- (NOT "-audible laughter-", I meant IOL!)
I think you should go with a you know, totally Roman clothes and a crown, and then have all kinds of vegetables stuck on your clothes. So you are, literally, CAESAR salad! Geddit, geddit? CAESAR?
Mouse... hmm, good ideas. I'll think. Any other suggestions?

I'm going to be Dolly Levi from Hello, Dolly! for my sister's party. Yes. Tanna (the aforementioned sister) gets a cool hoop dress...I got to wear the petticoats around the house...and scare Kay (who was not at my house at the time). And then there was the time Kay and I pretended we were drunk and sang "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz"...and then I made him listen to "Dancing Through Life" and "As Long As You're Mine"...
*rambles on*

"Ecce Caesar Salad!" (And tell people it's pronounced with a hard c, which, as near as I can fathom, is really closer to the German "Kaiser" than to the way most people pronounce Caesar)
I had the idea of dressing up as Agnes. (aka Perdita)
And I forgot to suggest Mustrum Ridcully. Or Reacher Gilt. Or Spike!

E-- When I was in "You Can't Take It With You" last year, my character was hopelessly drunk... and I sang "The Merry Old Land Of Oz." That's the perfect drunken song to sing.
Dressing up as Agnes would be hard. People would just think you were dressing up as a gothic Victorian witch. If I were to dress up as a Discworld character, I'd pick something more iconic looking... like the Postman suit, with the gold on it and the winged hat. People wouldn't know who you were supposed to be, but they wouldn't think you were something boring!
